It is sometimes challenging to choose which road to take for the next leg of the trip. Tossing a coin didn’t work. Following our criteria to head generally west, find an overnight camp spot within reasonable distance, not too long a drive, and hopefully find a spot we’ve never been to before, we chose Eufaula, Alabama as our stopping spot for the night. We were so pleasantly surprised when we drove into town, just on the GA, AL border, that we paid for a second night at the campground so we could do some sightseeing the next day. We hope you’ll agree that it was worth the stay-over when you see some of the pictures we took.
